We were thrilled to have had 65 works of art accepted into the show, out of 86 entries.  And a  total of 33 artists participated in this show.  Over $1,600 in awards were given to the best area and regional artists for the following prize categories: $750 First Place, $500 Second Place, $250 Third Place, Merit Awards $100, and Peoples Choice $100.  All artwork is for sale and four pieces were sold during our opening reception.  This is a wonderful opportunity to take home an original piece of artwork from our amazing group of local artists.

The following winners were announced at our Open House reception on Thursday, June 24.  In an effort to help introduce our community to these artists and show off their incredible work, we are introducing a Featured Artist section on our website.  Stay tuned for a short bio and more info on these artists and more in the coming weeks.   Click on the artists’ names to learn more about them.  We hope to inspire you to come and see their work in the Artisans Village Art Gallery, and maybe even purchase one of their pieces of original artwork.
