Reimagine
The Artisans Village Guild has been given the opportunity to participate in a very exciting and prestigious event coming to the Art Community in our area. As a part of the Georgia Department of Economic Development, the Georgia Council for the Arts (GCA) has curated a traveling exhibition of works from Georgia’s State Art Collection.  This unique exhibition will showcase works from the community’s local and regional artists alongside 20 featured works from the State Collection.

REIMAGINE: Contemporary Georgia Artists

The opening reception will be held at STMA on April 19, from 2-5 pm.

Join us and experience “Reimagine,” a traveling art show that brings together pieces from the State Art Collection alongside works by regional artists. Each stop offers something new, showcasing the remarkable talent of Georgians who have shaped the state’s vibrant arts and culture.  The local stop and reception for The Artisans Village juried in pieces will be held beginning April 20, through May 29, 2025, at the Steffen Thomas Museum of Art in Buckhead (Morgan County) GA. “’Reimagine’ serves as a megaphone for Georgia’s homegrown talent and shows that when we leverage the arts through collaboration and innovation, we bolster community excitement, opportunity, and underscore that art is for everyone.”

-Kenny Oaster, Georgia Council for the Arts, Curator of “Reimagine”
