Lake Country Juried Art Show

*UPDATE*  –  We had 50 artists enter 131 pieces this year, and 88 of them were juried into the show by our judge, Sam Traina. It is by far our largest number of entries!

ELIGIBILITY:

The exhibition is open to all artists 18 years or older. Painting, Drawing, Printmaking, and 3-D Design. No Giclees, photocopy, photographs or mechanically produced prints. Work created under supervision, classwork/workshops or with patterns is not allowed. All work must be original and all stages created entirely by the artist. Work previously displayed in any of The Artisans Village Guild Shows is not eligible. All work must have been created in the past 2 years.

AWARDS:

$750 First Place, $500 Second, $250 Third, and $100 Peoples Choice. $100 Merit Awards may be given.

JUROR/JUDGE: Sam Traina

Sam Traina has always been a creative thinker, focusing on art, music and business. His passion for painting, especially landscapes, has held his heart since 2008 when he picked up a paintbrush and smeared oil paint on a canvas. His focus is on both studio and plein air painting, and he has awards for both genres to prove his exceptional talent. Sam has studied with many accomplished artists along the way, adding to his considerable knowledge of art. In addition to working on his own paintings, he also teaches oil painting workshops.
