Location: The Artisans Village Art Gallery – 110 W. Marion Street in downtown Eatonton

Max# of Students: 6 – CLASS IS FULL 

Detailed Description: Class will be instructed in the technique of using catalog paper to create amazing art. You can transform pictures of blue jeans into rolling waves or dresses and coats into purple mountain majesties. Flower petals become rocks in a cliff or gorgeous abstract pieces. There is no limit to what you can accomplish with this technique if you love colors, can use scissors and follow some simple instructions. You don’t have to be a prolific artist to produce a beautiful piece.

Supplies to be Provided: catalogs, foam plates, markers, rulers

Supplies for Students to bring: 8 x 10 or larger canvas, ½” soft-bristled brush, a small bottle of Elmer’s CLEAR glue, small sharp pointed scissors, old bath cloth or dish rag, 9” foil pie pan, pencil, margarine, or cool whip container with lid.
