It’s time for our 9th annual Lake Country Juried Art Show

Get out your creative tools to show us what you’ve got happening in that fabulous, dreamy, thought provoking and unique, artistic mind. Show off your skills and give us something to wow us!  Entries are due by May 1, 2025!  We can hardly wait to see what you come up with this year.  This annual event presented by The Artisans Village Guild draws in some of the finest artists and artwork from all over the state.

Opening Reception & Awards  |  June 19 from 5 – 7:30 pm @ Barrel 118

Save the date for the Opening Reception on Thursday, June 19 at Barrel 118 in downtown Eatonton!  The public is invited to attend this fabulous show and reception at Barrel 118.  Stay tuned for a weekend full of events and viewing opportunities at this gorgeous venue before the show moves over to The Artisans Village Art Gallery.

Application & Payment

Members of The Artisans Village Guild may submit up to three entries for $30. Non-members pay $50 for up to three entries. Individual Guild memberships cost $25 for the calendar year of 2025. You may pay for your entries and join the Guild using this form.

Lake Country Juried Art Show 2025 – Juror & Judge

SHANE McDONALD

Shane McDonald has created fine art oil and pastel portraits for patrons throughout the Southeast since obtaining his BA degree in Art from Kennesaw State University in 1992. His training in classical drawing and painting paired with his willingness to embrace the current trends in contemporary art has enabled him to maintain respect as a fine artist and instructor in the Atlanta area.

Shane’s fine art landscapes are represented by Robert Kent Gallery in Marietta, GA. Figurative works and still-life paintings can also be seen in his commercial studio and gallery at the Artisan Resource Center in Marietta, GA. Shane has won numerous awards for his works at juried competitions. His paintings are in the permanent collections at the Marietta/Cobb Museum of Art, Kennesaw State University, the Dr. Jesse R. Peel LGBTQ Center at East Carolina University, and the Zuckerman Museum of Art. He is also associated with the School of Art and Design at Kennesaw State University.     Visit Shane’s Website.
