What is Dual Vision?
Dual Vision: Art Through Different Eyes – A collaboration between local Artists and Photographers. Artists recreate original artwork from the inspiration of a selected photograph.
Since 2017, the Guild has collaborated with the local photo club now known as Lake Country Photography Club for this event. The photographers bring stunning photographs to our May 9 monthly Guild meeting, and Guild member artists create art inspired by those photographs in all different mediums.
Thursday, Sept. 18 – Dual Vision: Opening Reception at Barrel 118
The Guild hosted a fabulous reception at historic Barrel 118 at which the photos and the artwork were displayed for sale on Thursday, September 18, 2025, from 5:00 to 8:00. After a long weekend at Barrel 118, the photos and artwork were moved to The Artisans Village Art Gallery, 110 W. Marion Street, Eatonton. They will be on display and available for purchase until the end of October.
Congrats to our People’s Choice winners!

What Can you Create?
All mediums are encouraged: painting, sculpture, jewelry, pottery, mosaics, textiles, gourds, weaving, etc… You create whatever the photograph inspires in you. If you are a painter, you are not obligated to recreate the photo, although you are welcome to do that, too! See the link to the Rules and Guidelines for Artists above.
If you are a photographer in the Guild, have not contributed photos already through membership in the photo club, and want to participate, please plan to bring photos for Guild members to consider. Remember, if a photo is selected, the Guild member will take it with them in May, and you will be responsible for providing an 8×10 matted print of the photo for the reveal, show, and exhibition. See the link for Rules and Guidelines for Photographers link above.
