The 2026 BIG little Project
BIG PROJECT. BIG FUN. BIG CREATIVITY.
unique little 6″x6″ art with a little price tag.

The BIG little Project is back!
This is our FOURTH year of the BIG little Project, and we are limiting sales of panels to 50 pieces! Set a reminder to purchase your ticket beginning Monday, March 2, 2026.
What is the BIG little Project?
Big Fun, Big Creativity. Little artwork with a little price tag. We’ve asked our Guild Members to create an original artwork of any subject matter and medium on a 6×6 inch art panel. As soon as we start getting the completed artwork, we will share images on Facebook, Instagram and here on the website.
Selection Tickets: Anyone can purchase a ticket!
Now, you can join in the fun. Beginning Monday, March 2, at 10 a.m., you can purchase a ticket for $50 online. The online order form will appear on this page beginning on March 2 at 10 am. You can also purchase a ticket at the Gallery.
The completed art panels will be displayed together at the Gallery beginning Wednesday, March 4, through Wednesday, March 26, during Gallery hours (W-F 11-5 and Saturday 10-3). As long as you purchase a selection ticket, you’ll get to select one of the pieces during the reception on March 26, 2026, at Barrel 118, located at 118 N. Jefferson Avenue, Eatonton, GA.
Imagine getting a piece of beautiful original art for only $50!
How the Selection Process Works:
We decided to change things up a little this year! In the past it was first ticket purchased, first to select. This year, you’ll be assigned a random number which will be the order of the selection. You may either go to the Gallery or call the Gallery (during regular Gallery hours) to have a selection number drawn for you. That selection number will dictate the order in which panels will be chosen the night of the reception on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Barrel 118, 118 N. Jefferson Ave., Eatonton, GA. The last purchased ticket might end up being the first to select a piece of art! All funds raised will be used to support the operation of the Village, the Guild and the Gallery. The Artisans Village is a non-profit organization.
Selection Ticket Order Form:
The selection ticket order form will appear here ON THIS PAGE at 10 am EST on Monday, March 2, 2026. Please review the Terms and Conditions below prior to purchasing. Thanks for your support of the Arts in our community!
Terms and Conditions:
The selection ticket purchase entitles you to a Selection Number which you will obtain by either going to The Artisans Village Art Gallery, 110 W. Marion Street, Eatonton, GA, during Gallery hours to draw or calling the Gallery during Gallery hours to have a Selection Number drawn for you. That Selection Number will dictate the order in which panels will be chosen the night of the reception on Thursday March 26, 2026, at Barrel 118, 118 N. Jefferson Ave., Eatonton, GA.
If you cannot attend in person, you can send a proxy in your place to choose a panel. If you or your proxy do not respond when your name is called, you will be moved to the end of the list. Your Selection Number will be confirmed by email prior to the night of the Reception. Selection will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday March 26 at Barrel 118, 118 N. Jefferson Ave, Eatonton, GA, and will proceed rapidly.
Please visit the Gallery in advance to view the panels to speed your selection the night of the reception. The panels will be on display beginning Wednesday March 4 until Wednesday March 25 during regular Gallery hours (W-F 11:00 to 5:00, Saturday 10:00 to 3:00). Selection will be subject to a timer.
No ticket refunds. Panels are selected as is. Consult with your own tax advisor about any tax implications of your ticket purchase.

The Artisans Village Guild
The BIG little Project 2026 Information and Rules
Thank you so much for participating in our BIG little Project. Not only will we have fun creating art together as a Guild, we also will raise much needed funds for the Village, the Gallery and the Guild. Below are some frequently asked questions.
Remember, you must be a 2026 paid Guild member to participate. So, if you have not paid your dues you can either bring a check to the December or January Guild meetings, mail a check to our treasurer, Michele Hartung (123 Smith Court, Eatonton, GA 31024) or pay online. If you joined for the first time after July 1, 2025, your dues were good for the rest of 2025 and 2026. Thanks for being a member and sharing Guild fun with us!
What can I create?
You can put anything in any color on your panel with these few restrictions:
- The panel must be able to sit on one of its sides in case the purchaser wants to put it on a shelf instead of hang it.
- The panel must also be able to hang on the wall. The sawtooth hanger will be installed on your panel when you receive it.
- Your creation must be within community standards (i.e. nothing obscene) and
- You must use the panel you purchased from the Guild.
So, use your imagination! Want to weave through the panel, cut some holes. Want to create something 3-D? Have at it, as long as it will hang on the wall and sit on one side. Want to do watercolor or pastel? Feel free to paste the paper of your choice to the panel. Remember that eventually, all the panels will be hung side by side to display for purchasers.
What do I do with the sides? Plan to paint the sides black. If you want to continue your creation around the sides just remember: (1) the sides are not gessoed and (2) there must be at least one flat side that will permit the piece to sit on a shelf.
Can I sign the piece? Yes, please do. Please also write your name on the back, along with the words “The Artisans Village Guild 2026 BIG little Project.” If you want to name your piece you can do that also and write that on the back, too.
Do I have to wire the panel for hanging? No, the panel will come to you with a sawtooth hanger.
When must the panel be completed?
The absolute deadline to have your piece in the Project is February 13. We would love to have them whenever you finish them so we can use the growing collection to promote the Project. You can bring completed panels to the January 9 Guild meeting, the February 13 Guild meeting, or drop them at The Artisans Village Art Gallery, 110 W. Marion Street Eatonton, GA, during Gallery hours (W-F 11-5 and Saturday 10-3) no later than February 13.
How will the panels be sold?
Beginning March 2, we will begin selling tickets online for $50 each. The tickets will entitle the purchaser to pick a panel at the Reception on March 26 at Barrel 118, 118 N. Jefferson Avenue, Eatonton, GA. To shake things up this year, your ticket will entitle you to either go to the Gallery or call the Gallery to have a number drawn. That number will dictate the order in which you choose your panel. The last purchased ticket might end up being the first chooser! All funds raised will be used to support the operation of the Village, the Guild and the Gallery.
Enjoy creating!
