Detailed Description: In this introduction class we will learn basic washes and wet into wet techniques as well as using salt for texture and effects. The attached paintings are of aurora borealis and an abstract using salt. I will provide a handout that discusses supplies, discount art supply sources, and good YouTube tutorials.

$70 Total Cost     (Class Fee: $50 + Supply Cost: $20)

Supplies to be Provided: paints, brushes, gouache, gel pens, paper and palettes

Supplies for Students to bring:  An apron or old shirt for protection from splatters and either 2 mason jars or 2 clear plastic cups for their water
