Paint Between the Lines
It’s been said that a picture is worth a thousand words. We believe the opposite is also true: a thousand words are worth a picture. So Georgia Writers Museum invited all area writers to submit a story, scene, poem, or essay (but no more than 300 words) that will give local artists and Guild members from The Artisans Village the inspiration to create a masterpiece of their own.
This show works much like Dual Vision with the photos/photography club, but with short stories and poems written by local authors instead of photographs. You have the opportunity to select one or two entries and use your imagination to create a work of art in any medium to create a visual representation.
We are excited to share 38 written entries from local authors with you! Click to read the entries and make your selection.

Nearly thirty of our members responded and have shown some fabulous stuff!! Thank you for your participation. Enjoy the 2021 Spring Virtual Slideshow! If you are interested in purchasing one of these pieces stop in the Gallery and talk to Shannon or give us a call – (706)623-7757.
Guild Featured Artwork
December 15, 2020
Because we could not have our usual December Share and Tell at our monthly Guild meeting, we encouraged our Guild members to share photos of artwork they created during the pandemic (though not limited to a pandemic theme). Twenty-eight members posted or sent photos, often several.
Please enjoy this beautiful collage of amazing artwork created by our Guild members!
