Summer Field Trips with the Guild:
Every Summer the Guild plans a couple of ”field trips” to different art galleries. Our first group outing will be on Wednesday, July 10th. We are going to The High Museum located at The Woodruff Arts Center in Atlanta. There is an option to meet at the Greensboro Home Depot and carpool, or you may meet us at the museum. We will have lunch following the tour. Karin Gould is heading this up for us and will have a sign-up sheet at our next two Guild meetings. Join us for a fun afternoon!
August Field Trip with the Guild:
On Wednesday, August 7 the group will venture to The Booth Western Museum in Cartersville, GA.
Open since 2003 and located just north of Atlanta along I-75, the Booth is the largest museum of its kind in the Southeast and an Affiliate to the Smithsonian Institution. At 120,000 square feet, the Booth is an architectural wonder – designed to resemble a modern pueblo and constructed from Bulgarian limestone. The Booth’s permanent collection of Western art and Presidential portraits and letters allows visitors to “See America’s Story” – the land, people, struggles, dreams, and legends – in paintings, sculpture, photography and artifacts.

Nearly thirty of our members responded and have shown some fabulous stuff!! Thank you for your participation. Enjoy the 2021 Spring Virtual Slideshow! Guild Featured Artwork
December 15, 2020
Because we could not have our usual December Share and Tell at our monthly Guild meeting, we encouraged our Guild members to share photos of artwork they created during the pandemic (though not limited to a pandemic theme). Twenty-eight members posted or sent photos, often several.
Please enjoy this beautiful collage of amazing artwork created by our Guild members!
