Crazy Daisy 3-D Mosaic

DETAILED DESCRIPTION:

This mosaic class will involve learning to use hand tools to cut and shape vintage china and glass into a 3-D mosaic of a six-petal flower. In class, we will we will also discuss techniques for putting together mosaics using a variety of materials, substrates, tools and adhesives. Students will be given the tools and supplies to complete the artwork during the class. Limited class size of six students to allow time for one on one instruction and room to create.

SUPPLIES TO BE PROVIDED: Tile Nippers, Wheeled Glass Nippers, Wooden Substrate, China, Glass Tiles, Safety Goggles, Gloves, Dust Mask, Other Tools and Grouting Supplies.

SUPPLIES FOR STUDENTS TO BRING: Wear old clothes that can get stained or dirty.
