Detailed Description:

Welcome to Intuitive Abstract Painting!! This class is all about courage. The courage to believe
in yourself, your abilities, your vision even if you don’t know you have a vision. Be ready to let loose and play. We will go through several steps to loosen up your creative spirit.  We often have lots of chatter, questions, suggestions and praise while we work. It is a joyful, fun and freeing activity and one that gives you confidence in your art and even in your life. Breaking barriers in one part of life gives you confidence to try other new things. This is a 2 part class over 2 Saturdays 10:00-1:00. So, let’s jump in and have some fun together!  When you sign up it will be for both dates, so please make sure you make note and are available.

In February we will be offering a Part 2 Abstracts Class using the techniques you learned in the First Class and adding tape to our paintings to cover, disguise, intrigue the viewer. We will also add a splash of metallic paints for you to experiment with and see how metallics can enliven a painting. Those dates are February 21 and 25, again a 2 part Class. Hope to see you there!

TOTAL COST $120  (Includes cost of materials and both classes)

Supplies to be Provided: All art supplies will be privided.  2 drawing papers, 2 canvases, pencils, crayons, paints, palette for paints, a set of paint brushes, foam brushes.

Supplies for Students to bring:

Each student should bring…an apron to protect clothes and any personal brushes or stamping items you’d like to use. We will get messy!
